Canadian first aid and CPR re-certification courses are offered by all of the major Canadian first aid and CPR providers. These courses are designed for people that need to renew previously awarded first aid and/or CPR certification. Candidates need to make sure they meet all of the prerequisites prior to registering for a course. Most courses taken through credible providers meet government and legislative standards for your area. In re-certification courses candidates will review all of the knowledge and skill learned in the previous course with attention paid to areas that need more work and changes to standards. Re-certification courses range in length from 3 hours to 8 hours. It is important to note that not all certifications are available for re-certification. If your first aid certificate is not listed below it is not available for re-certification.
